When you want to get more traffic to your business website, one place that you do not want to neglect is YouTube. This very popular social network is the biggest and it has grown by 12 percent from 2019. It now gets about 2.8 billion users per month and it is used by people all over the world. No matter what your business is, you need to market your business on YouTube and draw some of that traffic to your website.

Interact with Your Customers

Use YouTube videos to interact with your visitors so that they can get to know you. People will more readily buy from businesses that they trust. This means that you need to reveal some things about yourself, your ideals, and your company. While you do want to post some information about your products, remember that social media is only valuable if you do some socializing on it.

Customize Your Page

You can customize your YouTube channel by adding your logo, customizing tags, and defining your color scheme. Just as important, you can also add the links of your choice, letting you drive visitors that want to know more right to your webpage.

Add Many Types of Videos

Since YouTube is all about videos, you can add whatever type you want. They can highlight your products, create how-to videos, showcase your services, or talk about your company. You are the producer. You can look at other YouTube videos and see what kind has the most views and which kind will generate lots of comments. Keep your how-to videos short, about five or six minutes each. If more time is needed, break it down into more than one video for best results.

Use Keywords

People will search for your information or products by using keywords. You need to carefully select which ones will draw the most interested people and the people that are willing to buy.

Comment on Other Videos

YouTube enables you to comment on other videos. This is an excellent opportunity to post a link to your videos when appropriate. Making helpful comments will drive some of the traffic that the original video gets to your website. Be careful not to spam your links.

Remember the Social Media Aspect

Above all else, YouTube is about socializing. Avoid being all business and not trying to get to be friends with your visitors. You can add friends to your list, join a group, send messages, and more.

Add Testimonials from Customers

Besides doing your own promotion, you can add some video testimonials about your products and company. This will build customer acceptance and trust and help people to be more willing to do business with you.

Conduct YouTube Livestream Videos

Another way to market on Youtube is to host live events. It is easy to do and you can use it for your special events. Invite your friends and customers to live video with messaging or email and build customer loyalty or promote a new product or service.

  • Livestream enables you to conduct webinars, highlight your products, conduct interviews, answer customers’ questions, and more. A strong advantage of using videos or doing it in Livestream is that they do not need to be perfect – just good. This enables you to create your videos quickly and cheaply. About all you need is a cellphone – or you could go professional. Be sure to check out what others are doing on YouTube to get even more ideas and imitate what works.
